Promo codes
Create bonus codes for your players, limit how many times they're used, and credit the bonus when a player redeems one.
Create a code
- Open Promo Codes and select Create code.
- Enter the Code, for example WELCOME10. Letters are turned into capitals for you.
- Enter the Bonus amount in dollars.
- Optionally, enter Max uses to limit how many times the code can be redeemed in total.
- Select Create.
Share the code with your players however you like, for example in an announcement.
How players redeem a code
In Spinzuri, the player opens Promo Codes, types the code and taps Redeem Code. They see a message that the bonus has been applied.
Each player can redeem a code once. A player who tries a code that won't work sees why:
- Invalid or inactive promo code: the code is wrong or you've deactivated it
- This promo code has reached its usage limit: it hit its Max uses
- You have already redeemed this promo code
Credit the bonus
Redeeming a code records the bonus for that player, but it doesn't add credit to a game account by itself. To give the player their bonus:
- Open the player in Players. Under Promo Codes Redeemed, check the bonus amount.
- Select Recharge next to the game account they want the bonus on, and enter the amount.
- Select Confirm Recharge.
On the Promo Codes page, each code shows how many times it's been used, for example "3/100 used". Use that count to spot new redemptions.
Turn a code off
Select Deactivate. The code shows as inactive and can't be redeemed. Select Activate to turn it back on. Codes can't be edited or deleted, so create a new code if you want a different bonus.
